Curtis Institute of Music students perform over 100 free recitals during the school year, held on most Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. Admission requires advance registration and is complimentary.

About the Artists
Sameer Agrawal, from Chicago, studying violin with Midori, is a Dorothy Richard Starling Foundation Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.
Maya Anjali Buchanan (’23, ‘25), from Rapid City, S.D., studied violin with Ida Kavafian, was the Jill and Sheldon Bonovitz Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2018.
Maxence Dauriat, from Combs-la-Ville, France, studying timpani and percussion with Ji Su Jung, Don Liuzzi, and Eric Millstein, is the Richard A. Doran Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.
Romain-Olivier Gray, from Québec City and Woodbridge, Virginia, studying cello with Nicholas Canellakis, Yumi Kendall, Christine Lee, and Peter Wiley, is the Maurice Gendron Memorial Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.
Hairui Lei, from Shanghai, studying violin with Shmuel Ashkenasi and Pamela Frank, is a Jean J. Sterne Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.
Annis Cheuk Lam Ma, from Hong Kong, studying viola with Misha Amory and Hsin-Yun Huang, is the Bernice and Howard Levinson Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.
Dimitrios Mattas (’25), from Fruit Heights, Utah, studied double bass with Hal Robinson and Edgar Meyer, was the Florence and Milton Levy Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.
Kei Saotome, from Tokyo, studying violin with Erin Keefe, is the Shaun F. O’Malley Fellow and entered Curtis in 2024.
Elliot Sloss (’25), from Toronto, studying cello with Nicholas Canellakis, Yumi Kendall, Christine Lee, and Peter Wiley, is the Peter King Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2021.
Niccolo Wu, from Taipei, Taiwan, studying violin with Benjamin Beilman, is the John S. Price Fellow and entered Curtis in 2024.
