Irene R. Miller

Irene R. Miller has specialized in corporate governance since 1995 and has served on eight public company boards including: The Toronto-Dominion Bank Group, TD Ameritrade Holding Corp, Inditex, S.A. (Zara), Coach, Inc. and Barnes & Noble, Inc. From 1991 to 1997, Ms. Miller was Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Barnes & Noble, Inc. Prior to that she was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley & Co. Ms. Miller holds an M.S. in chemistry from Cornell University and a B.S. from the University of Toronto.

She is a trustee of several non-profits including the Miller Khoshkish Foundation, the Associates of the University of Toronto, Inc, and the Friends of the Graduate Institute, Geneva, Inc.

She is a former founding co-chair of the Advisory Council of the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto, and is a member of the Global Council of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and a patron of the Beare’s International Violin Society (London). She collects and lends rare string instruments to top musicians in the U.S. and Europe. She is an amateur violinist and continues her studies in New York where she lives.
