Co-Commissioning Opportunity
We are seeking co-commissioners to commission a new piano trio composed by Trio Zimbalist’s pianist George Xiaoyuan Fu. The new work will be exclusively available to co-commissioners during the 2026—27 season. The work will have three movements with an estimated duration of 20-25 minutes. For co-commissioners, the work could be substituted for either Shostakovich: Piano Trio No. 1, Op. 8 or Haydn: Piano Trio No. 39 in G major, Hob. XV:25 in the program offerings below. Other repertoire combinations may be possible in consultation with Curtis.
